We are looking for a full time Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard to join the team, working 40 hours a week on a shift system. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard will undertake lifeguard duties to ensure the safety of pool users at all times, carry out regular Health & Safety inspections as required and carry out regular pool water quality and environmental tests.

The ideal candidates will have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, although applicants without this qualification will be considered, but the appointment will be subject to successfully attaining the qualification. Experience of working as a Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard is desirable.

We offer an annual salary of £24,629 with opportunities to undertake relevant and further training, staff rates for the Sports Centre membership and lunch provided free during term time.
