We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics Lead to join our vibrant Girls’ Preparatory School Gymnastics Department.
Gymnastics Lead (Girls' Preparatory School)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Part-time, permanent
Hours: 23.5 hours per week, 36 weeks of the year (term-time)
Monday: 10:30am - 5:30pm (6.5 hours, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak)
Tuesday: 8:30am - 5:30pm (8.5 hours, plus 30-min unpaid lunchbreak)
Wednesday: 1:00pm - 5.30pm (4.5 hours, no lunchbreak)
Thursday: 8:30am - 12:30pm (4 hours, no lunchbreak)
Pay: Up to £20,925 per annum (based on an FTE of £41,921, depending on qualifications and experience), plus a generous benefits package which includes a Health Cash Plan, free Will-Writing service, daily hot lunch and much more – see our full benefits package here.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics Lead to join our vibrant Girls’ Preparatory School Gymnastics Department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver engaging sessions for pupils aged 4–11, helping them develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.
What you’ll do
Inspire, teach, and coach pupils of all abilities – from enthusiastic beginners to confident performers.
Lead the planning and delivery of our pre-squad and advanced programme, supporting progression into the Senior School squad.
Act as the main point of contact for gymnastics at the Girls’
Preparatory School, offering advice and encouragement to pupils, staff, and parents.
Ensure safety and compliance by checking equipment and following health and safety guidelines.
Support pupils during competitions and showcases, helping them perform at their best.
Assist with the day-to-day organisation of the Gymnastics Programme and maintain equipment in top condition.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
British Gymnastics Coaching Level 2 qualification.
Proven experience coaching young people in gymnastics
Desirable:
Evidence of further professional development in gymnastics or sports coaching.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
You’ll need creativity, confidence, and a collaborative approach, along with a commitment to promoting safety and wellbeing.
