Teacher of Computer Science - Part-time 0.5
We are seeking an excellent Teacher of Computer Science to join our Department on a part-time basis.
At KGS we are passionate about equipping students with the skills required to create with digital technology. We have created an innovative and engaging Computing curriculum which develops core skills, such as programming, but also encourages problem solving, creativity and resilience. In doing so, we challenge students to get hands on with physical computing, utilizing technologies like the Raspberry Pi, LEGO and Micro:bit to develop cross-curricular STEAM skills.
We are seeking a candidate with a passion for Computer Science and the technical skill to deliver outstanding Computing lessons. You will have strong subject knowledge, including programming, and experience of delivering Computer Science at least to GCSE level, but ideally to A-level as well. This role is a fantastic opportunity for those who love to create digital technology to pass that enthusiasm on to our students. The successful applicant will be a strong team player, joining a small but dynamic department, receptive to new ideas, and committed to improving outcomes for students.

Hours of work: The role is offered on a part time basis, working 0.5 over three days per week.
