Teacher of Art - Maternity Cover
We have a vacancy for a full time Teacher of Art to cover a period of maternity leave, from 2nd November 2020.
Art at KGS is a highly valued and vibrant part of the curriculum. With our bright, well-equipped studios and enthusiastic and knowledgeable teachers, we strive to produce an exciting and creative atmosphere that encourages students to feel confident in both their ideas and their abilities. We aim to ensure that students experience enjoyment, inspiration and success in the studio and appreciate the study of Art as an important part of their education.
We are now seeking a full time Teacher of Art to cover a period of maternity leave, from 2nd November 2020. The successful candidate will have a passion for Art and the enthusiasm to pass it on to our students. You will have strong subject knowledge and, ideally, experience of teaching Year 7 and all the way to A-level. The successful applicant will be a strong team player, joining a solid department, receptive to new ideas but committed to improving outcomes for students. Pastoral experience is also desirable.
