The English department is a thriving team with a varied and strong level of expertise. We are looking for an inspirational teacher to work in this intellectually challenging and supportive department. A love of English is essential, as is the willingness to work with colleagues to continue to develop pedagogy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong subject knowledge, understanding and experience of teaching up to Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

Observing the delivery of a lesson in person allows us to assess how well a teacher can engage with our pupils and adapt to our curriculum, as well as capturing the nuances of classroom management and non-verbal communication.
