We require a full time Learning Support Assistant to work on a one to one basis with a student with an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan).

Dulwich College is looking for a Learning Support Teacher to join our friendly and experienced team working with pupils in Years 7–13.

Our Learning Support Department plays an important role in helping pupils succeed within our fast-paced academic curriculum. We support students with a range of learning needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism spectrum conditions, as well as pupils who do not have a formal diagnosis. Around 200 pupils are on our Learning Support Register, with about 90 receiving regular support.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver one-to-one and small-group support
  • Help pupils develop literacy, study skills and organisation
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
  • Provide advice on classroom strategies
  • Contribute to training on SEND where needed

About you

  • Knowledge or experience of supporting pupils with learning differences
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Positive, patient and pupil-focused
  • Experience in a school setting is helpful but not essential
