DUCKS Learning Support Teaching Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support & Enrichment team. You will be supporting pupils within their classroom environments, enabling them to access the curriculum and help develop their social and communication skills.

42.5 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support & Enrichment team. You will be supporting pupils within their classroom environments, enabling them to access the curriculum and help develop their social and communication skills. You will have a good knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEND, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, and understand how to implement effective behavioural, emotional, social and communication interventions.
This is an exciting full time, permanent role for someone with a real passion for enabling children with SEND to flourish. You will be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupils’ Individual Learning Support Plan in liaison with the class teachers and SENCO. The ability to promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour as well as effectively communicate with staff and professionally with parents is essential.
