Resident Assistant Houseparents
- Monmouth School for Girls
Monmouth School for Girls seeks to appoint enthusiastic, caring, patient and resourceful Resident Assistant Houseparents for its Boarding House, which are home to 154 girls aged between 7 and 19 years old from 2019
The successful candidates will be passionate about boarding and possess a warm personality, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to the welfare of the pupils in their care. A sense of humour and a flexible approach are vital for these stimulating and rewarding positions. The successful candidates should also have good administrative skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. In your role you will deputise for the Houseparent(s) in their absence and will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the House.
This is a non-teaching post and relevant pastoral experience would be an advantage. You will be expected to live on site during term-time and suitable accommodation will be provided.
A contribution to the wider life of a day and boarding school, both in pastoral and extra-curricular activities is expected. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment and the Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools have their own generous salary scale and benefits above the national average. Monmouth School for Girls is a member of the Boarding Schools’ Association, Girls’ Schools Association and IAPS.
