Queenswood is seeking to appoint a Director of Communications and External Relations to lead the School’s marketing, admissions and development activities. Reporting to the Principal, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of External Relations will provide inspiring and strategic leadership of Queenswood’s external relations activities.

The successful applicant will be a key public face of the School. This is a high profile and exciting leadership position suited to a high calibre marketing professional who combines demonstrable leadership skills with an extensive marketing, admissions and communications background, perhaps encompassing an international aspect.

The post will most likely attract an experienced professional from the independent education sector. Alternatively, the role might suit an exceptional individual with wider educational or commercial experience gained outside the sector but who has an instinctive feel for the School’s customers and their needs, bringing with them the relevant skills to undertake this complex and exciting job. An understanding of, and empathy with, the School’s ethos is essential.

This is a full-time, permanent post paying £70,000 – £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

Our benefits include free lunch and refreshments during term-time, ample parking, and the use of school grounds and facilities. Onsite accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.
